Rugby League & Union Head Injuries Claim

KP Law is supporting over 1000 former rugby league and rugby union players in their pursuit of justice against the governing bodies of both sports. KP Law was appointed as Lead Solicitors for the claimants in Hughes & Ors v World Rugby Limited & Ors and Edwards & Ors v The Rugby Football League Limited & Ors in August 2026. The claims were commenced in the High Court in 2022.

About the claim

Our clients sustained serious head injuries due to collision impacts during match play or training. It is our belief that the governing bodies were negligent in their duty of care and did not take appropriate precautions to prevent harm or inform players of the potential risks.
